Visit the Parent's Section in the Media Center

Not only is the media center a place for LOA students and teachers, parents and other grown-ups have their own section in the media center! With the latest best-selling fiction and non-fiction titles, resource books and Core Knowledge resources, adults can browse the shelves for reading materials that are of interest to them. The circulation period is for two weeks and sign-up only takes a few minutes.

Also new is our parent book swap section – “bring one, take one” – no checkout required. To access this area, just bring in a book – fiction or non-fiction - and swap out for another book of interest. When finished, simply return and swap out for another title.

We hope parents and other adults associated with the school will take advantage of these opportunities to read, and show our LOA students that learning and reading is a lifelong process.

We welcome adults to the LOA Media Center daily from 2:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. All visitors are required to sign in at the front office before going to the library. For more information, please contact the school at 706.454.1562 and ask for Mrs. Lipscomb in the Media Center.
