The sights and sounds of voice rehearsals, band practice and set preparations can be seen and heard around campus as Lake Oconee Academy (LOA) gets ready to present the “Secret Identity Showcase” on Thursday, November 3 at 6:30 p.m. in Community Hall of LOA.
Do you ever wonder what happens to your teacher after the last bell rings? Where do they go? What do they do? Do they actually do something fun for themselves? The “Secret Identity Showcase” will reveal the “secret identity” and hidden talents of its teachers. Also featured will be the ever-popular Reynolds Chorus, world-renowned Metropolitan Opera star and OPAS artist-in-residence Jeffrey Wells, and some of the talented LOA students in a great evening of music and entertainment.
"The faculty at LOA is incredibly talented and not just in the classroom,” said Amy Reber, music and piano instructor for LOA. “This is a great year for the fine arts program at LOA. We are launching the band program, and are implementing class piano for our older grades. To celebrate the expansion of our music programs, we are showcasing the hidden talents of our faculty through the "Secret Identity Showcase."
There is no set admission for this event, but a requested donation at the door. All proceeds from the evening will be used to further enhance the growing fine arts program at LOA. The community is invited to join the LOA family in this fun evening.
