I hope that this resource helps you and your families stay well and informed. Please keep me (and your student’s teacher/staff) informed of any health conditions that could affect your student while at school. Healthy students are better learners!

I am so excited to be the school nurse here at Lake Oconee Academy and I promise to give your student(s) the quality care they deserve. I am available by phone or email, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Provided below is a link to our required health form, as well as our COVID and Lice policies.

Action plans are needed for all students with food/insect allergies, asthma, diabetes, seizure, etc. These plans must be signed by your student’s physician and returned at the beginning of each school year or as they are updated. If you're needing a copy of a particular action plan to take to your physician, please reach out to me via email and I will be happy to provide you with one.

I realize illnesses do occur and parents must decide whether to keep their student(s) home or to send them to school. The “Too Sick for School” information sheet is linked below. If in doubt, call me or contact me via email and I will be glad to help with the decision.

LOA continues to partner with ESE Telehealth for staff, students, and LOA families. Below you will find a link to register and/or schedule an appointment.

For our younger LOA students- accidents happen at school; please be sure to send a change of clothing in their backpack to keep at school. This includes food accidents as well; you never know when you might need a clean pair of clothes! The school clinic runs on donations only and supplies are often low or out in the smaller sizes.
