Field Day fun ☀️🎉 Our elementary students had the best time on Friday, full of games, laughter, and lots of friendly competition (and yes… the tug-of-war finale was a favorite!).

What a week celebrating our LOA family 💙 From classrooms to campus-wide moments, we have been reminded again and again just how special our teachers and staff are. The heart they bring, the care they show, and the joy they create makes LOA feel like home. This week has been a meaningful reminder of the people who make LOA so special. Thank you for all that you do for our students and for each other, and thank you to Lakeside Church for providing our Cinco de Mayo lunch.

Teacher Tuesday – 1st Grade Team 💙 From magnets and STEM activities to cultural fairs and westward expansion…from book fair days and egg hunts to Santa visits and the unforgettable Royal Ball…Our 1st grade team truly does it all!! They guide students through loose teeth and big milestones, spelling words and solving math problems, navigating recess friendships and discovering a love of learning along the way. It is a year full of growth, joy, and wonder, and these teachers make every moment count.

At LOA, it is the people who make the place. As we kick off Teacher Appreciation Week, we are so excited to celebrate the incredible educators and staff who pour into our students each and every day. As we close out the week, we are proud to celebrate National Principals Day at LOA. Mrs. Mellow, Mrs. Baxley, and Mr. Smith lead our schools with vision, integrity, and a deep commitment to our students, staff, and families. Their leadership shapes the culture of our campus and plays a vital role in the success we see every day. We are grateful for the way they lead our Titan community. #NationalPrincipalsDay
A quiet moment in a busy season. Mrs. Heberling’s writing students spent the day at Rock Eagle, trading screens and schedules for fresh air, open trails, and time to simply think and write. The group hiked 3.5 miles and wrote from four different writing prompts.
Between walks, hikes, and moments of stillness, students found inspiration in nature and space to reflect… a simple day, but one that left them refreshed and recharged. Sometimes the most meaningful learning happens in the quiet.
Thankful Thursday 🌿Our kindergarteners in Ms. Griffin’s class created their own mini greenhouses, bringing learning to life in the most hands-on way. We are so grateful for the parent volunteers who give their time to make moments like these possible.
Hands-on learning at its best 🚀 Our gifted 1st graders engineered parachutes to safely land their peeps, while 3rd grade tackled an egg drop challenge… with only ONE casualty!
What a show! 🎭✨ Our LOA High School production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee was an unforgettable weekend filled with laughter, talent, and incredible energy. From start to finish, our students brought this story to life in the most engaging and entertaining way. We are so proud of this talented cast and crew, whose hard work, creativity, and commitment were on full display. A special thank you to our directors, musicians, and student designers who made every detail come together so beautifully. And to our LOA community—thank you for showing up, filling the seats, and supporting our students in this meaningful way. Bravo to all involved on a fantastic production! 💙

AP Art Exhibit 🎨 What a remarkable evening celebrating the talent and dedication of our AP Art students. Set in a beautiful gallery space, the exhibit provided a truly professional backdrop for our students to showcase their work and share the stories behind their creative journeys. Each piece reflected not only artistic talent, but also the countless hours of research, revision, and perseverance that brought these portfolios to life. We are grateful for the support of our families, friends, and faculty who came out to celebrate, and a special thank you to Lisa Conner for hosting this meaningful experience. We are so proud of these artists and all they have accomplished.

Happy World Book Day from LOA! 📚 There is nothing better than seeing our students excited about books, discovering new stories, and growing a lifelong love of reading. We are also so grateful for another wonderful Book Fair, where our Titans had the chance to explore, choose, and take home stories of their own. Moments like these help bring reading to life across our campus.
Our first grade students recently partnered with Georgia College’s freshman sociology class for a hands-on culture fair experience. Through interactive project boards, food, crafts and activities, our students explored cultures from around the world in a way that was both engaging and memorable. Each student even received a “passport” to be stamped along the way—bringing an extra layer of excitement to their learning journey. We are grateful for this special partnership and the opportunity for our students to experience a glimpse of college life while expanding their understanding of the world around them.
What a great week it’s been having our students back on campus. From the first steps on Monday to a full week of learning, connection and growth, there’s nothing better than a campus full of Titans 👏💙
Learning comes to life in 1st grade. Mrs. Craig’s class is diving into Westward Expansion through hands-on building, creativity and collaboration, bringing history to life in meaningful and memorable ways.🪵🏡 You can feel the curiosity, the excitement, and the joy of learning in every part of our campus.
And just like that… we’re back. Smiles in the hallways, friends side by side, and a full week of learning ahead. We’re so happy to have our Titans coming back on campus today. Let’s make it a great week together.
PTC Appreciation 🐣💛A heartfelt thank you to our incredible PTC volunteers for organizing this year’s annual Easter egg hunt for our teachers. Because of you, our staff felt celebrated, appreciated, and a little extra joyful. It’s moments like these that make LOA so special.
