If you could build your own city, what would you put in it? 🗺️🏙️ Our 5th grade students in Mrs. Stewart’s class wrapped up their geography unit in a creative and hands-on way by designing their own cities and mapping them out. 🗺️✨ From roads and landmarks to thoughtful details and layout, students used what they learned to bring geography to life through imagination, planning, and problem-solving. We love seeing our teachers create opportunities for students to think, build, problem-solve, and make learning their own.

One problem. Many possible solutions. ✂️📐 Students in Ms. McGoldrick’s Advanced Algebra class kicked off the year with a challenge that was about much more than math. Using only a 5x7 notecard and a pair of scissors, each group had to create a paper loop large enough to fit around everyone on the team. Every group that succeeded found a different solution, proving an important lesson: there is not always just one right way to solve a problem. Collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and a little persistence made this a memorable start to the year. Because some of the best math lessons teach life lessons, too.

Learning is in full swing at LOA! 📚 Backpacks have been unpacked, new routines are taking shape, friendships are growing, and every classroom is already buzzing with curiosity. From our youngest learners to our seniors, another incredible school year of learning is officially underway. Here’s to all the growth, discovery, and possibility ahead. 💙💛

Friday Night Lights are back at LOA! 🏈 The wait is over! Join us tonight as the Titans kick off the 2026 football season at our Football Jamboree. We'll welcome The Walker School and Bethlehem Christian Academy to Tucker Field for an exciting evening of preseason football, great food, and Titan pride. Come early to enjoy the food trucks, then settle in for a great night under the lights. Bring your family, wear your blue and gold, and help us pack the stands as we cheer on the Titans. A perfect day for a little friendly competition. ☀️ Our middle school students enjoyed Field Day filled with teamwork, energy, and plenty of fun this week. A special thank you to Mrs. Jorie Flores for planning such a memorable event for our students!

History came to life in our fourth grade classrooms. ✨🎭 Through our Living History Museum, students stepped into the stories of influential figures, bringing research, creativity, and presentation skills together in a meaningful and memorable way. Learning like this builds confidence, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of the world around us. Great job Titans!

While our first grade class soaked up the sunshine and made the most of a beautiful day on the playground, our PreK students brought the letter Q to life with creativity, imagination, and plenty of school spirit. From crowns to jerseys, learning was hands-on and full of joy. It’s moments like these that make LOA so special. 💙💛

There’s something really special about the Titan Buddy program. 💙 This year, our 1st and 4th grade buddies spent time learning, laughing, and growing together—and today, they added one more memory. Chalk messages, bright colors, and little hands creating something meaningful for the big moment ahead. As our seniors prepare to walk on Friday, these sweet notes line the path—a reminder of where they started, and the younger Titans already looking up to them. Full circle moments like this are what make our LOA community so special. 💛

Happy National Receptionists’ Day 💙 Today we celebrate the individuals who are often the very first smile, voice, and welcome to our school. From greeting families to keeping our days running smoothly, our receptionists play an essential role in the heart of our community.
