From start to finish, our students brought this story to life in the most engaging and entertaining way. Set in a beautiful gallery space, the exhibit provided a truly professional backdrop for our students to showcase their work and share the stories behind their creative journeys. Each piece reflected not only artistic talent, but also the countless hours of research, revision, and perseverance that brought these portfolios to life. We are grateful for the support of our families, friends, and faculty who came out to celebrate, and a special thank you to Lisa Conner for hosting this meaningful experience. Our first grade students recently partnered with Georgia College’s freshman sociology class for a hands-on culture fair experience. Through interactive project boards, food, crafts and activities, our students explored cultures from around the world in a way that was both engaging and memorable. Each student even received a “passport” to be stamped along the way—bringing an extra layer of excitement to their learning journey. We are grateful for this special partnership and the opportunity for our students to experience a glimpse of college life while expanding their understanding of the world around them.

Happy Monday, Titans! 🎡Take a look at what our 11th and 12th grade Dual Enrollment Statistics students have been up to! Students in Dr. McCracken’s class transformed the Titan Center into a carnival, designing and building their own games based on statistical probability. 🎯📊 Even better, younger students were invited to join in the fun and test their luck at each station, bringing learning to life in the most exciting way! And yes… one lucky game even included the chance to pie Coach Croffie in the face 😄🥧 Hands-on learning, creativity, and a whole lot of fun… just another great day at LOA!

Happy First Day of Spring! 🌸 Our 4th graders took full advantage of the beautiful weather and brought their writing workshop outside to enjoy the first day of spring. Students worked together editing and revising their partners’ writing while putting our newly purchased outdoor picnic tables to great use. Pre-K Dino Day was DINO-mite at LOA! 🦖✨ From the moment students arrived to a carline full of surprise (hello, inflatable dinosaurs! 👀🦕), the day was packed with hands-on fun and learning. Our youngest Titans became paleontologists for the day, digging for fossils, creating their own dinosaur imprints in clay, and exploring the world of dinosaurs through creative play. Of course, no Dino Day is complete without a few yummy treats to celebrate 🦖💚 It was a day full of imagination, discovery, and BIG smiles!

Today, our Titans put Community, Citizenship, and Scholarship into action. 💙💛From writing notes of encouragement to staff, to planting wildflowers, painting rocks, cleaning our campus, and even helping behind the scenes in the cafeteria—our students showed what it means to serve others. We are proud to take part in Georgia’s statewide Day of Service, inspired by Teacher of the Year Rachel Kinsaul, and even more proud of the kindness, teamwork, and leadership shown by our students.
