Introducing your 2026 LOA Homecoming King & Queen! 👑 Congratulations to Logan Davis and Sasha Daniels! 💙💛 We loved celebrating these two Titans and this special Homecoming tradition. 👑✨

Build it. Test it. Strengthen it. Try again. 🌉📏 Students in Dr. Anderson’s class put their STEM skills to work in a hands-on bridge-building activity. While studying load and velocity, students collaborated to build structures, test their designs, and make adjustments along the way. The activity called for teamwork, measurement, communication, and plenty of problem-solving as students explored how forces affect a structure. This is STEM learning in action: collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and a little friendly competition. 💙💛

What a week to be a Titan! 💙💛 Spirit Week brought plenty of school spirit, creative dress-up days, laughter, and memories across campus. And in the middle of all the Homecoming fun, we even harvested the first pumpkin from our school garden! 🎃
Now, we’re ready to bring Homecoming Week to a close as our Titans take the field for the Homecoming football game tonight! 🏈

Then it’s time for a well-earned Fall Break. 🍂 LOA will be closed next week, and we look forward to welcoming our Titans back to campus on Monday, October 12.

After finishing The Wind in the Willows as part of their Classical Tales Reading Unit, our third-grade students brought the story to life with a special classroom celebration! 📚🐸🍂 Students enjoyed themed snacks, compared the movie adaptation to the book, and shared their favorite characters and what made them memorable. It was a fun way to wrap up a unit filled with reading, discussion, imagination, and thoughtful reflection. 💙💛

We are incredibly thankful for the parents and families who continually find thoughtful ways to support our teachers and staff. Our PTC recently rolled out tailgate-themed treat carts across campus, delivering snacks, smiles, and a little extra encouragement to our team. It is gestures like these that remind us how special it is to be part of a community that takes care of one another. Thank you, PTC, for always showing up for our Titans! 🏈💙

Mrs. Nolley’s science students put a creative spin on learning cell organelles with a little organelle speed dating. Students created profiles for different parts of the cell, complete with functions, locations, hashtags, theme songs, and even school-appropriate pick-up lines, before rotating through the room to learn about their classmates’ organelles. Science content, creativity, and plenty of laughs. We love seeing learning come to life in unexpected ways. 💙💛

It Started With a Student Request…☀️📚 What happens when a student has a good idea and a teacher says, “Yes!”? 💙 Our students asked to read outside, and their teacher listened. So, 10 minutes of reading time moved outdoors—bringing fresh air, Vitamin D, and a peaceful change of scenery to the school day. We love seeing students speak up, teachers listen, and simple ideas turn into meaningful moments on campus.

Big learning about an even bigger universe. 🌎🪐✨ Mrs. Carlton’s fourth grade students brought the solar system to life through creative projects that combined research, imagination, and hands-on learning. From planets and moons to the vastness of space, our students had the opportunity to explore science in a way that made their learning visible, memorable and fun. Keep up the good work Titans.

Friendship is one of the sweetest parts of growing up at LOA. 💙💛 It’s the hugs, the familiar faces, the classmates who become friends, and the feeling of knowing you belong. As we close out the week, we’re especially grateful for the kindness and connections our students share with one another each day. Here’s to the friendships, memories, and everyday moments that make being a Titan so meaningful.

Today, 2,977 American flags cover the LOA pond lawn as our school community pauses to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001 and reflect on courage, compassion, service, and unity.

When the book comes to life. 📚🦎After reading about axolotls in a library book, these students took a mini field trip across campus to Ms. Nolley’s high school classroom to meet one up close! We love moments like this—when curiosity turns into a hands-on learning experience and our teachers work together across grade levels to make it happen. 💙💛

From learning together and solving problems, to playground adventures and the friendships formed in between, these everyday moments are what make a school feel like home. At LOA, our students are growing not only as learners, but alongside one another. They are building friendships, confidence, curiosity, and lasting memories that connect them to something bigger than themselves. That’s the heart of #ONETitan.💙💛

If you could build your own city, what would you put in it? 🗺️🏙️ Our 5th grade students in Mrs. Stewart’s class wrapped up their geography unit in a creative and hands-on way by designing their own cities and mapping them out. 🗺️✨ From roads and landmarks to thoughtful details and layout, students used what they learned to bring geography to life through imagination, planning, and problem-solving. We love seeing our teachers create opportunities for students to think, build, problem-solve, and make learning their own.

One problem. Many possible solutions. ✂️📐 Students in Ms. McGoldrick’s Advanced Algebra class kicked off the year with a challenge that was about much more than math. Using only a 5x7 notecard and a pair of scissors, each group had to create a paper loop large enough to fit around everyone on the team. Every group that succeeded found a different solution, proving an important lesson: there is not always just one right way to solve a problem. Collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and a little persistence made this a memorable start to the year. Because some of the best math lessons teach life lessons, too.

Learning is in full swing at LOA! 📚 Backpacks have been unpacked, new routines are taking shape, friendships are growing, and every classroom is already buzzing with curiosity. From our youngest learners to our seniors, another incredible school year of learning is officially underway. Here’s to all the growth, discovery, and possibility ahead. 💙💛

Friday Night Lights are back at LOA! 🏈 The wait is over! Join us tonight as the Titans kick off the 2026 football season at our Football Jamboree. We'll welcome The Walker School and Bethlehem Christian Academy to Tucker Field for an exciting evening of preseason football, great food, and Titan pride. Come early to enjoy the food trucks, then settle in for a great night under the lights. Bring your family, wear your blue and gold, and help us pack the stands as we cheer on the Titans. We can't wait to welcome our community back to Tucker Field and kick off another exciting season together! ONE Titan. 💙💛
