Our DECA chapter joined thousands of students from across the state for DECA Fall Rally, marking the official kickoff to this year’s season. We’re so proud of our Titans who represented LOA in competitions and earned recognition:
🎨 One student competed in the Georgia DECA Button Design Contest
🎤 One student competed in Themed Speech
🏅 And five Titans, Libby Hopkins, Emi Mokan, Nicole Wang, Olivia Sweeney and Morgan Dell earned the prestigious DECA Statesman Award!
It was an exciting day of networking, leadership and school spirit, and a fantastic way to launch another year of DECA at LOA! 💙💛

Today’s special visitor? A horse! 🐴🔬 Science came to life in Mrs. Hiter’s class! As part of their unit on Taxonomy and Classification, students are studying the characteristics of animals and exploring examples from all classes of vertebrates.

🐎 Students had the chance to see firsthand how unique traits help scientists classify living things and better understand the diversity of life around us. 🌎✨
Hands-on experiences like these make learning both memorable and fun!

It was a day fit for royalty in 1st grade! 👑✨ Our Titans dressed up for a Royal Ball, while their 4th grade Titan Buddies taught them about their coat of arms and assisted the younger Titans with making their own shields & crowns. Everyone celebrated with a feast after learning to waltz & fox trot 💙💛
